Stealth Street Bike

Radar Roy was challenged prior to the 2004 Radar Detector Shoot Out to stealth out a high performance sport motorcycle to see if it could evade capture by the latest police radar and laser guns.

Super Street Bike Magazine covered the event for their November 2004 issue.

Radar Roy installed the latest radar detection equipment an Escort 8500 X50, a Blinder M-20 laser jammer and a H.A.R.D. System for the test. This equipment was installed the evening prior to the testing in El Paso.

Carl's team of certified police officers from the El Paso area operated the radar and laser equipment in the same manner when they issue speeding tickets.

Radar Roy and his crew were successful in completely jamming all the police laser guns, and detecting police radar at a distance of over four miles away!
