Integrated Systems
Cheetah Systems integrates with many of the higher end radar detector and laser jamming systems that are available today.
One of their systems that we tested was their GPS Mirror that clips over the existing driver rear view mirror.
GPS Capabilities: The GPS Mirror comes installed with a database of most of the fixed camera locations in the USA and Canada and newer databases can be obtained from their website and downloaded into the mirror system.
The driver can also mark their own locations into the mirror by the press of a button.

Radar Detector/ Laser Jammer Interface: The GPS Mirror can also interface with most high end radar detectors and laser jammers, allowing the driver to control functions and obtaining all alerts through the mirror.
One impressive feature was the ability of muting the radar detector or disabling the laser jammer, until the vehicle reached a set speed. During our review we set the mirror to only allow activation once the vehicle speed exceeded 25 miles per hour. This one feature reduced our "false alarms" significantly.
