nice range! August 16, 2013 Reviewer: Kentmax5 from New Mexico   I really like the sensitivity and the range on this detector. This is the first radar detector I have owned so I am new to using one, but the best thing is the range you can get in a straightaway with a cop using KA band it will pick up about a mile a way. Not Advanced for Laser June 5, 2013 Reviewer: zerbey from Memphis, TN   Good detector for everything but laser.  Have had several instances where I was never alerted when being shot by police with laser.  Don't by this unit if you want that kind of detection. Was this review helpful to you?

One of the best April 12, 2013 Reviewer: Ole Blake from Ozark, AL   This is one of the best I've used. The ONLY problem I've had is the heat. I live in AZ and the inside temp onmy truck has melted the speaker. I recommend removing the unit when not in use. The unit still performs well, but has to be watched with no sound. Awsome radar March 26, 2013 Reviewer: AH from Portland, Orego   Radar is awesome, i use it every day, I like it that its so loud that it can go over my music and can see  really far, using in city you get lots of X and K near stores [...] but on the highway its what you need, I always keep my radar on highway mode so it dosn't filter out bands, I mounted my radar high for the fact that you get farther X, K, KA, KU, POP. Works as advertised February 22, 2013 Reviewer: 4qts from Ohio   Very clear warnings and nearly shrill when a genuine radar trap is nearby.  It has saved my bacon more than once.  Its only problem is that it seems acutely sensitive to bogus X band warnings and it goes off everytime I pass a large truck, go near a gas station, or any other building that seems to have a large satellite receiver, or large microwave in operation. descent unit could be improved January 13, 2013 Reviewer: Jake from WAUKESHA,WI   Had this unit in my M5. Helped me get out of many tickets. Have owned it for about 3 years now and been okay. I've still gotten 7 speeding tickets with this unit while I was using it. I was on my way back from court in Virginia, had to get back to school. I got pulled over for reckless driving due to going 87/70. Pulled over for speeding and illegal radar possession. Was this review helpful to you?
