Easy mounting, but you will have to add two holes at the bottom with a drill if you are going to use it with a frame that has 4 bolts. There are only two holes placed at the top. You really do need to uses a license plate frame with this to keep it in good contact with the plate.

I had to generate new holes in the cover based on my motorcycle plate size (standard I think). Had to be careful not to interfere with the coated strip. Also had to cut off extra cover for a better fit. I am still in the experimental stages of whether it works or not based on my having to resize it without damaging it and it's ability to do what I purchased it for. The jury is still out... But I'll let you know...

I'm sure the product works. For a camera to get my full tag it would have to be lucky. BUT me getting FHP or DOT to believe this protector is some kind of legal. HMMMM might not happen. Cross your fingers and hold on 08 R6...
