Operate a pilot car co., driving in many states. This item is too obviuose to law enforcement when in place, and so could draw unwanted attention to my vehicle, even in areas where it is legal. Could result in a ticket when passing through areas where it is not legal. The small rectangular light bending area creates lines that are easily seen on the plate from any angle, and the portion of the plate that is distorted shows up in stark contrast to the rest of the plate when viewed at any angle other that direct/head on- i.e. someone walking or driving by.

this product has to stick close to the tag other wise the numbers will not be visible

This is my third Original Protector. I bought this for an additional vehicle that I drive about 1,000 miles per week through an average of $200.00 of tolls per month. I was having trouble with a particular toll booth that I had to travel though every day that would "issue" me a ticket for not paying at least once a month even though my electronic transponder bill showed that I was charged for the same time I was ticketed. Since using the Original Protector, I have not had this problem. My wife's car has one too b/c she started having similar problem traveling through the same toll booth, but the Original Protector seems to have solved the problem for her too.
