SpeedLab Laser Jammer Tester

To test my 4 head Blinder system plus my Escort installed QI 45 detector, I purchased this Speed Lab unit plus a SECOND stripped down 1-button $60 laser tester unit, both from HAYNEEDLE website. In order to set off either in-car device I must use the TWO laser test units SIMULTANEOUSLY. Even then I must make several tries whether inches or feet from the sensor heads before I can succeed in triggering either of the 2 anti-laser devices in my car. I believe the reason for the disappointing performance of the Speed Lab or other laser tester is that the laser signals produced in the Speed Lab or the $60 test device are both powered by only a small 9-volt battery and that simply neither of them puts out a big enough laser signal to do a 100% reliable job. So why do I keep these laser test devices? Because short of buying a $1000 police laser gun, I have no alternative with which to test my equipment.
