The Beltronics SmartPlug Cord has a mute button, red alert light and green power light on an inline module.  (Uses RJ-11 "telephone-style" detector connection.)

  • Length of cord from SmartPlug module to power connection - approx. 3 feet
  • Length of cord from SmartPlug module to detector - approx. 8 feet

 

Compatible with Beltronics models STi Driver, RX65, RX55, 995, 965, and 955.

        Mounted the SmartPlug control unit in an easy to reach dash location as my Beltronics 955 is located above the rear-view mirror and would be a little awkward to attempt changes manually. The direct-wire plug is easy to install, although you may want to connect directly to a fusebox ignition point terminal and not use the supplied wire tap. The control unit was easily mounted with a small piece of velcro and the product worked fine.

              The Beltronics SmartPlug is quick and easy to use. It is aso very descret,I use it on my Vector 955, i live buy places that set the detector off predictably. Now insted of taking my eyes off the road i just push the mute buttone by my wheel.
