After using the factory Escort cord I decided to buy this direct wire kit to use instead. Before my RD's wouldn't turn off when the car was off.

Now, with this direct wire kit my Redline turns on and off with the car.

I'm now able to use a visor mount for my Redline, so this cord provides more of a stealth look for my Redline.

I would highly recommend this direct cord.

I had been looking for a hardwire kit to hardwire my 9500ix into my BMW for a while. I didnt wanna use the fuse box as then id have to run cable all over the place. I bought this kit as i have a switched 12V cable thats used for a universal garage door opener wired above the cabin lights. The interlocking fastener thats included spliced right into the wire and got a current. I stowed the excess cable above the interior lights and ran the RJ11 jack through the headliner to where i wanted my detector mounted above my rear view mirror.

Now its extremely hard to see i run a detector from outside, and its located up high for the best detection range of radar.
