It appears that there is also a part of the cable that will connect to your radar detector. Not so this cable is only for switching between parking assist and jamming. No harm I needed the cable anyway but could have made it myself, 2wires, 1switch and 1 connector, not difficult to do. The price does seem high for what cable is.

This is a must have for stealth and to use the parking feature. The problem lies in the product description,you must have a laptop PC with windows and a USB to 9 pin serial connector to install this item. The good news is once you have it you can change the programming on the LI to your liking. For this much $$$ a cord or adapter should be included with the main unit.

This switch is a must, especially considering the new laser jammer law set to go into effect in Texas in September 2011. You must be able to demonstrate that your jammers are used as parking sensors to have a fighting chance. This switch allows for easy and discreet switching between jam mode and parking assist mode.
