City Mode Filtering
Choose from two levels of City mode filters, including City Standard and City NoX for quiet operation in and around town.
Brightness Control with Full Dark Mode
The STi has four levels of brightness, including an auto mode which automatically changes the brightness based on the ambient light in the vehicle. You can also select full dark mode and use the power-on and alert indicators on the SmartPlug™ for complete stealth operation.

i'm anxious to put this to work.....radar detectors are illegal in commercial vehicles (trucks) so the un-detectable feature is why i bought this one.....my old one was getting me too many tickets

Great radar detector for the money. I get a few false alarms around town but that's to be expected. The sensitivity is great. I've encountered one speed trap since installing and it alerted me well in advance.

I have owned the STI driver for almost a year now, have went by many and I mean many OPP. It really is undetectable. This detector is for those that want to speed smart. There are so few rabbits now a days with the police seizing cars and bullying everyone into driving like a senior. This is perfect for those that want to avoid nuissance tickets. I drive a constant 30 over everywhere, but I still watch the highway for black and whites and respond even if the RD doesn't announce. Often they do not even have their detectors on, quick reaction time is important in these situations. Do not think you are immune from tickets with one of these, you have advance notice the second they try to track you or anyone around, infron ot behind you. Drive 50 over without a rabbit and you will get impounded, you will just know it before the others without a detector. Smart driving is still the name of this game. You now have an advantage, but you will not be immune. I loved the driver so much, I sold it to my best friend and upgrade to the magnum. It will be in tomorrow and this site has the fastest shipping and the best price than anywhere you will find. Great customer service too
