One thing to complain about is it reacts to police interceptors in stores so any time you pass a bigger store you will see a K alert but in a way its cool cause you see where EVERYTHING is. I have had a few times it did not respond to a police car but they where driving not scanning for speeders, any time one was parked on the side of the road it reacted and just tonight I was coming from a 40 over a bridge and right after the bridge it turns into 25 but thinking its ok to still go 40 just a little longer if it weren't for my cobra beeping its butt off i would have gotten a ticket cause there was a cop right at the end of the bridge hiding in the shadows but my cobra reacted way before he saw me so im happy with it.

Right out the packaging the windshield mount did not work. This device picks up X, K, and Ka bands from what I experienced. I passed several city police without any alert. I passed a state trooper that had pulled someone over, and the Cobra detected a Ka band. Anywhere in the city where a speed cam was, or radar, the XRS-9545 detected it. The downside is it only detected it within 200-300 feet. I will be returning this model, and upgrading to see if there is any real difference.

I have been using Cobra Products for many years.I just installed
the XRS 9545 in my new Honda Civic.My first impression is that
it is much quieter than my last unit in regards to false alarms.
The unit is easy to install and easy to use.Cobra is a great
product for the money!

Haven't used it fully yet since buying it, but it seems to serve a purpose. Very sensitive to anything that it alerts. Inexpensive as well. I don't have quite the knowledge of radar detectors other than their general use so if it beeps then it works for me.
