      Very satisfied with the radar, the gps feature is awesome and easy to download. I was not going to spend $500 plus for a radar so this Cobra was perfect for my budget and needs and I'm actually very impressed with this unit. Also I have to mentioned the great customer service & lightning fast shipping. Highly recomended!!

        After a lot of research and lots of reading I think this is the best unit out there for the price. It already did it's job from the 1st day with it plus the GPS with the AURA database free subscription is awesome, very easy to download and it's amazing the difference it makes, you will be satisfied.

          Got the detector right away and immediately had problems while trying to register the GPS unit for Aura updates. I kept getting a message that "The unit has been registered." After several phone calls and seriously thinking the unit had been tampered with, I finally called Cobra directly. 5 phone calls later with a promise to return my call, no results!!!
          I then took it upon myself to visit the download site, install the drivers needed for the red light camera updates (twice) the unit finally accepted the download!! Kinda weird, huh. Anyhoo, the Cobra website WILL still not let me register the product, but I'm able to access the red light camera download area without registration.
          Hope this information helps someone else who encounters this problem!!

              I use this product so I don't get any tickets. It's a great deal and is worth every penny. I would love to get another one for a family member. All and all, you would not be making a smart choice if you did not get this radar. I see them before they see me and that is how I like it.

              Service and delivery comments:

              When they sent my xrs-9970g, they let me know when I would get it, and around what time. It came nicely packed and looked like it was just made. I did the over night shipping because I could not wait to get it. I give it a ten on there service and delivery.
