My 9500ci saved me yesterday from a POP UP. If it had not given me a few seconds notice of a well hidden GSP Trooper I would have been several hundred dollars lighter. Sometimes it is better to measure cost in how much it saves you, not in the initial down payment. This unit is a good buy. Would I recommend it to a friend?? I plan to buy several more 9500ci's.

My 9500ci is a great radar detector and provides great detection range against all radar bands. However, I/O detection is poor, and the laser jammers are weak. The rear laser jammer provides NO protection. I only recommend this detector/jammer system if you own a small, dark colored car and if are willing to buy VEIL for your headlights. Also, mounting the radar antenna with a clear view of the road is crucial to ensure maximum detection range.

This is just a great product! I used to have a K40 Calibre thing, that thing was always giving me false alerts :( With Escort thing, it doesn't, a does have a nice red light camera feature :)

I have owned the x50 and RX75 before owning the 9500ci. I decided to get the 9500ci over any V1 for the GPS lock out feature. This thing is dead silent on your daily driving. The laser jammer is near JTG for the stalker and Prolaser 3 since i don't have a front plate on a black car. The only negative is the sound alert on all bands. The alert beeps is so loud that it would give you a heart attack on laser. The RX75 is more has a more plesent warning.
