The Escort Passport 9500ix Radar Detector also comes pre-loaded with thousands of safety camera locations, including red light and speed-based cameras throughout North America. Data subscription is an option and requires Windows XP, Vista or 7 (not compatible with MACs). Detector must be powered and connected to your PC before installing updates to the database.

Its new GPS-powered TrueLock™ feature allows you to simply press the mute button a couple of times and never hear a radar-based automatic door opener or motion sensor again. Our patented design captures the location coordinates and the exact frequency of the signal and stores them in memory. You don't always remember, but now your PASSPORT 9500ix will. The PASSPORT 9500ix's "Mark Location" feature allows you to quickly store a specific location in memory. Simply tap the "Mark" button a couple of times and the 9500i will store this location in memory. The next time you approach this area, the PASSPORT 9500ix will provide an alert well in advance to remind you of the potential danger. This specific location reminder could keep you from being ambushed by instant-on radar or laser the next time you approach.
AutoVolume automatically adjusts the alert volume based on ambient noise.
The PASSPORT 9500ix will adjust the alert volume level based on the ambient noise in the vehicle. Using a miniature microphone, the 9500ix monitors ambient noise and will increase the volume level automatically to ensure you take notice even with loud music, passenger conversations, or excessive wind noise. Now each alert will be heard so you can react if needed.
Crystal-Clear Voice Alerts provide users with a real voice alert option.

The Direct Wire Cord provides a more permanent and concealed mounting option for your Escort or Bel radar detector. By tapping directly into a switched 12-volt power supply, this essential accessory will prevent loose cords from cluttering up your dash.
The Direct Wire SmartCord is another mounting solution for Escort and Bel radar detectors. Like the standard Direct Wire Cord, the SmartCord taps into your switched 12-volt power supply to free your dash from the cord clutter. It offers additional advantages as well. The SmartCord features a built-in alert lamp, pilot light, and convenient mute button so you can stay alert while keeping your focus on the road.
The Add-A-Circuit turns one fuse slot into two. This handy accessory plugs into any fuse slot, even if the slot has a fuse installed, and provides protection for both circuits. Ideal for use with the standard Direct Wire Cord or the Direct Wire SmartCord.
