Laser Mimic
Snooper SLD950X
Laser Jammer Review

The Mimic laser jammer first made headlines on RadarDetector.net, when dealers started touting it as the most powerful and affordable laser jammer.
Radar Roy grew suspicious of these claims and quickly identified the Korean manufacture and contacted his sources in the industry.
Roy was familiar with other laser jammers that this same Korean company was also distributing, such as the First Strike and the Laser Tech, and knew through his reviews and the testing of other independent sources, that they had little or no effect in jamming police laser guns at all.
Roy purchased five Laser Mimics directly from a US distributor.
Speed Measurement Laboratories
June 2005
Two of these Laser Mimics were tested at the Speed Measurement Laboratories 2005 Radar Detector Shoot Out. A certified police officer used an LTI Ultralyte LR 200, a Kustom Pro Laser III and A Stalker LZ-1 laser gun to test this unit. The full results of this test is available here.
This test was also video taped and you can view our online online testing video here.
The Laser Mimic performed very poorly and was only 14% effective at jamming all these guns.
Where Are They Now?
As word quickly spread through the US radar detector and jammer marketplace of the Mimic's poor performance, other dealers and distributors in the USA quickly dropped this product!
So the Korean manufacture quickly changed the name of the Mimic to the Snooper SLD950X and started marketing them to internet dealers in the UK market.
Recommendations
If you are in the marketplace for an active laser jammer that actually works, Radar Roy recommends the Blinder Xtreme
