Annual Detector Test 2003
June 20 -22, El Paso Texas
As a retired police officer and as a certified traffic radar instructor, Radar Roy was invited to participate in the Speed Measurement Laboratories "Annual Detector Tests 2003" in El Paso Texas on June 20th through 22nd.
Major radar and laser detector counter measure manufacturers, radar and laser gun manufacturers, a radar detector/detector (RDD) engineer, and members of the El Paso Police Department, the El Paso Independent School District Police Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety all met during this three day event. Evaluated was the very latest technology for police traffic enforcement and civilian counter measures devices.
During the testing process, only certified law enforcement officers operated the detection equipment and also acted as reviewers of all the counter measure devices.
