Stinger Radar Detector test
DSI Computer System that was reviewed an included a GPS device and K and Ka band radar detector. The GPS system can alert you in real time of road construction and known photo radar locations.
When the radar detector function is enabled, it will also alert you to K and Ka band radar devices.
When "Radar Roy" reviewed this product he commented that " This is was the most amazing radar detector that he had ever tested ". Not only did it defeat his Spectre II and III, but also had range on K and Ka bands that was equal to other concealed units in its class, and was also upgradable through a connection with your home computer.
During the Spectre testing of the Stinger, the Spectre II and III were only 12 feet away from the unit. Neither Spectre units alerted at all to the detectors presence.
This product is currently targeted to the European market and sells for over $1600.00.
Radar Roy hopes that other US manufactures take notice of this unit as the combination GPS/ Radar Detector, the upgradablilty options and its ability to defeat the Spectre are all unique.
