Does the 360 have band segmenting and an RDR toggle?

The 360 uses was Escort calls UltraDSP which is lightening quick at processing detected signals without the need for band-segmentation.

Can special athermic windshield adversely impact detection performance?

"Athermic" windshields have a metallic coating which will severely impact a radar detector's performance. Most have small areas to mount detectors and GPS nav units. GPS signals will also be blocked by this coating.

What is AUTOLEARN?

Autolearn uses the GPS feature to identify sources of false radar and memorizes location and frequency of each radar signal. Our AutoLearn software then compares signals received over time and eliminates audio alerts for non-police sources. The display will identify that a signal is present but no audio alert will be sounded. If a new source of radar or laser appears in the area you will receive a full audio and visual alert.

Will autolearn block out true police radar?

The 360's sophisticated software will prevent automatically blocking out true police signals.

What is the Defender Database?

Defender is a database of North American red light and fixed speed camera locations that can be updated weekly.

What is the USB Port Used For?

The Max 360 is web ready and the USB port can connect to a PC for software downloads and Defender Database updates.

What is variable speed sensitivity?

The Max 360 is able to increase sensitivity as your traveling speed increases so when you are driving at slower speeds the likelihood of falsing will drop as you do not need fully sensitivity.

Can the 360 be used outside of North America?

Escort does not monitor what frequencies are used overseas, but many customers travel abroad with their Escort

What is Expert Mode?

Expert Mode will show you up to 8 radar signals at the same time and will show relative signal strength and associated Band of each signal.

What is the Warranty Period?

Escort's products ordered from RadarBusters come with a full one-year factory warranty. Extended Service Plans are available on select models that will provide two additional years of warranty for $29.95.

I already have GPS in my car. Why do I need it in my Max 360?

The GPS feature is not used for navigation. The Max 360 allows you to Mark locations of interest, Block false radar and laser alerts, tracks vehicle speed in real-time, and allows sensitivity based on the vehicle speed.

What is the memory capacity of the 360 and can it run out of space?

The Max 360 has more than enough memory to hold all your locations as well as the camera locations used in the US.

I wasn't sure about the MAX 360 until I got it. One of the things I love about it is the mode where I can see the different bands, informing me of what the detector is detecting. This has taught me how to read the false alerts and recognize the real alerts while keeping it in highway mode all the time. I also bought the Veil G5. Having a lot of chrome on the front fairing of my Indian Roadmaster, the Veil G5 does create a tarnished look, but I think this outweighs any opportunity of avoiding being ticketed.

The window attachment for the max 360 works on my windshield. I further stabilized it with 15 pound velcro from Home Depot. This ensures I have great mounting without worrying about the velcro peeling off when I remove the detector.

It is my recommendation to use the app Waze along with any radar detector as minimum prevention. On radarbusters.com I was able to bundle the Veil G5 with my max 360 for just $10 more and no tax!!!
