5 of 5 Good Service And An Even Better Radar Detector! June 26, 2019

I had researched top-end radar detectors for awhile after deciding my existing unit was giving too many false alarms due to new car collision-avoidance radars.  I determined that the  R1/R3 were the best units for the money, but when I couldn't find an R3 available at RadarBusters, a quick phone call with them revealed the R3 had too many quality control complaints.  I settled on the cheaper R1 unit and ordered it.  It arrived within a reasonable shipping time from RadarBusters, and after a recent road trip, it performed spectacularly!  No false alarms from other cars and I was able to pick up KA band police radars from an extremely long distance!  Great value and great service from RadarBusters!

After watching radar busters reviews and reading reviews , I got the R1 to replace my new whistler which I just purchased but is literally unusable due to the consistent false signals from collision avoidance systems in the new cars. The R1 is unbelievable as to how well it filters out all this noise and still hits on the real signals I am wanting to know about. I can't say enough good things about the R1 or radar busters. Completely satisfied!

Very helpful staff which did exactly what they promised. Uniden R1 is lightweight and seems to work just fine ... I have only used it twice.  Multile settings for customized radar detecction.  I would suggest checking out the YouTube videos on setting upmthe Uniden R1.
