Best stealth detector to date August 20, 2014 Reviewer: Oracle from Central Valley   I bought this undetectable Bel STi Driver after my Valentine V1 was both detected and confiscated by a Spectre-toting police officer.  The sensitivity is comparable to the V1's in the Ka bands.  Minor drawbacks include too much falsing in the optional POP mode, a sub-standard internal speaker, and no provision for a remote display.  Overall, I'm fully satisfied with its performance to date, and co Was this review helpful to you?

Excellent unit August 4, 2014 Reviewer: Scro from Northern NJ   Great unit but I find that it overheats too quickly on hot summer days with the sun beating down on it. AC does not make a difference. On long trips I have to disconnect it to give it time to cool down. The problem may be the titanium case. Was this review helpful to you?

Don't Be Misled....... July 28, 2014 Reviewer: Richard from Dallas, TX   Don't be misled by this radar detector's understated appearance.......this is a tremendous bargain by far!!  Great, long-range sensitivity, minimal false alarms in crowded city conditions and.......best of all......it is invisible to the 'radar detector-detectors' that are in use.  I commute frequently to places where radar detectors are not allowed and it is great to have the security this little Was this review helpful to you?

Stealth at it's best June 29, 2014 Reviewer: leadfoot from Northern, Ontar   Just took a trip from Boston too North Carolina over the Thanksgiving Holiday. While going thru the wonderfull state (or republic) of Virgina as detectors and laser jammers are not allowed I was never looked at a second time with this detector even with my Yankee plates. STI is decent, wouldn't say it's thebest June 19, 2014 Reviewer: ACE from Edmonton, Alber   The STI is a well made piece of equipment BUT I've had problems with it since day one.  The first one I purchased after 4 hours of using it gave me a "service required" message.  I sent that one back and recieved another one, it worked decent for about a year and then it would give a "service required" message but if you unplugged it and plugged it back in it would work but would sometimes throw o Was this review helpful to you?

Still up in the air May 21, 2014 Reviewer: Creepin' While from Silver Spring,   The STi is always up and running here in Ontario whenever the car is out. All around I've found the sensitivity somewhat lacking. This being compared to Passport SRX system installed in the Acura NSX. WOW what a great investment this is. May 15, 2014 Reviewer: Paula from Eastern Indiana   I have to commute 3.5 to 4 hours per day most of which is open road and heavily policed.  I have avoided several ticket which would have cost me much more then I paid for the detector.  My Beltronics STi does everything I need and more. Perfect for the pro driver May 15, 2014 Reviewer: j j from Utah   Love the features it has-turning off xband will definitely help when I know the states that use it[it's old-doubt even Barney Fife uses it].I can mount it behind me so it is not visible in the day and still get fairly good warning till night when Ican mount it against the windshield.It was pretty cool having the CHP riding along beside me showing Kax9 and he did'nt know squat!Made me snicker [*]!O Was this review helpful to you?
