Radar March 19, 2023 Reviewer: Michael Barker from west jordan, UT United States   We have only had a chance to use it a few times but it does what our other radar did not do. The screen is bigger so I can see and read it. The sound continue until the threat is gone. By the type of sound it is rasy to figure out which band you are listening to. Love the directional arrows. Buy this! December 16, 2022 Reviewer: Jeff from Saint Peters, MO United States   Worth every penny. I just purchased this to drive from St. Louis, MO to Austin, TX and it saved my butt at least 5 times! Accurate and right on. Came with the updated patch already installed. Excellent Radar Detector October 18, 2022 Reviewer: BC from Northfield, IL United States   A couple of Escorts and Unidens, later I upgraded to arrows.  While it is no longer Uniden's flagship RD, it is still a very competent detector with awesome range and a great value for the money.  Arrows are highly important for situational awareness, BSM filtering is useful for ensuring the detector is quiet, and auto lock-outs (while not perfect) help maintain the driver's sanity.  The unit is a bit bigger than an R3 or other single horn detectors so if you are seeking a discrete, stealth mount, this might not be the unit for you.  The ordering process and shipping with Radar Busters was simple and fast. Incredibly Sensitive January 29, 2022 Reviewer: Javier Castro from Prosper, TX United States   I have to real-life encounters to report, however, I can say this R7 is extremely sensitive to K Band.  It seems to pick up quite a bit of traffic-sensing radar at signal lights in my area.  It picks up school zone speed warning systems about two miles away.  Oddly, in shopping center parking lots as well.  It’s easy to simply flag these areas so the GPS system quells the alert.  Multiple alerts of varying radar band types can be triggered simultaneously; I believe up to three or four.  The directional arrows are great, perhaps a nod to the Max360.  The system settings are brilliantly extensive and should suit any user level preferences.  Mounting is a snap and works exceedingly well.
