A Must Have!! August 23, 2011 Reviewer: dom from PONCA CITY   This is a "must have" to replace the extremely cheap and chintzy suction-cup windshield mount ... which always let loose at odd moments, allowing my 8500 X50 to drop to the floorboards, nicking its silver-colored finish as it clunked into things on its downward path.  Why in the world can't Escort wake up and improve their windshield mount to match the quality of their products!?!? It is what it is August 9, 2011 Reviewer: CHUCK C. from San Jose, CA   Clip is great but it is in a position that the radar unit (passport 9500i) won't be able to pick up the satalite as that eye is on the top of the unit. You need to use the suction cups provided with the unit and front windsheild mount for best operation. Was this review helpful to you?

Great alternative to suction cups December 13, 2010 Reviewer: Pigblanket from Phx,AZ   I hate the suction cup mounts with Escorts.  In Florida heat especially they just don't last.  This mount solves that problem and also makes the detector less conspicuous.  Just be careful inserting it into the detector as it is harder than the factory mount and can break the little nub that holds it in place. solid product February 7, 2010 Reviewer: mo the digital from Bakersfield Cal   Helps keep out of view from thieves and especially cops because it is harder to notice if you get pulled over. Unfortunately cant use when visor is down. Was this review helpful to you?
