So far, soooo good... January 14, 2014 Reviewer: John Smith from McDonough, GA   After having my vehicle broken into and my previous radar detector stolen I spent several weeks trying to decide between the Valentine 1 and the new Escort 9500i. All the test results were telling me the Valentine gave the earliest warnings and the arrows certainly sounded like a cool feature.  But in the end it was the ability to program the 9500i to basically rid yourself of false alerts. Great Product January 10, 2014 Reviewer: happy camper from FL   I have owned many Escort/Passport units through the years; I was an avid user of the original Escort and only switched to a different unit when Cin. Microwave came-out with the Passport. They were THE best detectors...period. I was in the market for a new detector, and my friend showed me his new Escort with GPS anti-false alarm protection. another big step in technology December 21, 2013 Reviewer: HAWK08 from Sandy, UT   The 9500ix is better than most radar detectors. Detection range is superb against all radar bands. The Autolearn feature has been known to randomly lock out real threats. Laser and I/O detection are poor. Other GPS features such as redlight camera locations and marked locations are useful. I would only get this radar detector if you do most of your driving in the city and if Ka is the only band. Was this review helpful to you?

Great detector ! Worth the price. October 11, 2013 Reviewer: Wild Bill from NC   If law enforcement knew how good this Passport can detect the signals there would be a law against it's use. I've owned my unit for about 3 months and it's save my rear at least 5 times. This unit can sense radar miles away! I use it everyday.It's sleek and pretty.
