4 of 5 Longest range, stealth shielded!!! March 21, 2013
Reviewer: GTPRacer from Chicago, IL
Glad I did. Very accurate and long range, plus much fewer false alarms than my 8500. Almost too good, as I was picking up traffic radar units in Ohio from a long ways away. The ones that are used for automated traffic updates on the ele

Reviewer: Dennis from Houston, TX
hope it is undtectable as advertised, got a ticket for having my 8500 in Va, & it has the smart shield vg2 immunity which isn't practical as far as I can tell, unless it does something I'm not aware of.   JK

5 of 5 Everything I expected and more... April 5, 2012
Reviewer: fonzzo from belmont n.c.
I do not like the way it is set up for volume controls and other selections.  It is not user friendly.  After one month of usage, I am having to send it (my Redline) to the factory for repair because the audio stopped working.  No sound what-so-ever.  For [$] this is a big disappointment to me.  Also, Escort is not Customer Service friendly,  as I have had a hard time getting in touch with them to

5 of 5 Excellent / $$ well spent October 25, 2011
Reviewer: Ajackfish from Rockville India
On the sunvisor it is wired to my rear view mirror connector.  It is hidden from view so I use it for daily driving around town.  It switches on and off with the ignition, and I can reach up and mute it without difficulty. [@] sells the mirror connecter wiring. I also have an S2 battery operated detecter that I use for rental cars.
