Maximum Range Front
Radar Detector Test
No radar detector test would be complete without the long range test!

The SML testing area is an ideal location because of low humidity, high elevation, and low micowave emmissions.
Assisted by an adjacent county sheriff's department, the SML van was located nine miles from the starting point of the test.
Used was a MPH X band Speed Gun, a Kustom Signals Falcon K band, and a Stalker Dual Ka band at 34.7 Ghz.
Results are reported in distance and 10ths of a mile

With these long range results, some people may be bothered by these long range warnings and either ignore them or even turning their radar detector off, DON'T!
