5 of 5 BelTronics does it again May 6, 2012
Reviewer: kdavis from Alabama
I live in VIRGINIA and have for over 30 years. Being the LAST state to BAN Radar Detectors is a problem. I purchased a BelTronics detector 13 yrs ago. I have NEVER been detected by police for having it and it was serviced only ONCE inthat time. When I needed a second detector Beltronics was the ONLY place I went to. The RX65 is the same as my other detector BUT with ALOT more features.

5 of 5 Flawless Performance December 29, 2011
Reviewer: Kring from Ogden, Utah
Thousands of miles an NO false alarms. Alarm went off, I nailed the brakes, NO cops...wait an unmarked Dodge Charger on the side of the road hidden by a tree pointing his radar gun right at me. Poor sucker in the Mustang GT behind me ignored my brake lights and got nailed after he rolled right by me.

5 of 5 Worked great for 3 years, then died. December 24, 2011
Reviewer: Charlene from kansas city
I bought this unit from [...] online 3 years ago. It was easy to install and worked great until 2 weeks ago, when it simply died.  No apparant cause of failure...it simply is dead as a door nail.

5 of 5 Great detector! October 9, 2011
Reviewer: Rebecca from little rock, ar
Excellent detector, pretty much neck and neck with my escort red line, except on 35.5. One feature I really like is that it resets it self every time its hit with laser! So if you have veil etc you can tell more clearly how effective its working!

5 of 5 HINT! READ BEFORE BUYING!!! October 7, 2011
Reviewer: Traveling Sales from Staten Island,
HINT! If you are buying from somewhere like eBay, that isnt a true retailer of Beltronics radar detectors, you have to watch out. There is a newer version of the RX65 that is out now (VERSION 6.3). I made the mistake of buying the older version (VERSION 6.1) with out knowing (it comes in a bright blue box, while the newest version comes in a dark navy blue box) and let me tell you.

5 of 5 Great Purchase October 5, 2011
Reviewer: Jimmy Jimmy from Plano, TX
I really like this radar detector.  It has a very great range and is sleek on the dash.  My only complaint is that the voice alert seems almost inaudible.  It would have been smart to provide a volume level for this feature.  Other than that, I would highly advise this unit.

5 of 5 undetected signal September 7, 2011
Reviewer: Sal1970 from Beaumont and Ho
I've had two rx65's.  Car got stolen with first one. I've been using the RX65 for the past 3-4yrs love it, Cant tell u how many times it has saved me, very accurate and no false alarms if Ka goes off there around somewhere; however, i was at Stone Mountain National Park in Stone Mountain Ga. They have these digital speed signs posted and normally my Bel Rx65 will go off.

5 of 5 Waste of time, BUY a Valantine June 21, 2011
Reviewer: Kurty from AL
Comparing this to my Valantine 1 it's sensitivity is much lower and very delayed.  it's also very noisy and built with poor quility.  Also it lacks front and back alerting which makes it a guessing game on where the cop is.  Go Valantine for the extra $70 with no questions.
