I used my Uniden R3 a week after I purchased it. Traveled to Virginia where the thing is illegal. I took the R3 off of the windshield and it picked up radar still. No clear view and it still worked. I won’t use it in Virginia I. The future because it’s illegal but it picked up every potential trap on -I-81 and 59 coming from Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

I've had this R3 for a month now and it has been excellent. Learning to use it has been a breeze, it has alerted me to units that I otherwise would have missed.

I purchased a Uniden R3 and after 3 days of use discovered it didn't perform any better than my Escort 9500.  I emailed Radarbusters and inquired about their return policy.  Was surprised to find out that once you open the box, there is no return.  In essence, a NO RETURN POLICY!  Make sure the product you're buying is going to perform b4 you purchase.
