Have only had unit for about a week but here are my initial impressions. It is a bit on the larger size. I have it in a truck vs sports car so being larger is not an issue for me. The single suction cup mount is incredibly strong should you choose to window mount; however, I prefer the Blend mount mirror mount (rock steady!) The R7 allows for many settings changes but honestly, it’s kind of a pain scrolling thru all the menu items. This is where having Bluetooth connectivity would be an advantage. Only been on highway once and the Ka signal I picked up was well in advance of the sender. My alternative choice detector was a Valentine V1gen 2….but was $100 more. Time will tell….but so far, no regrets.
