5 of 5 Hard V May 6, 2011
Reviewer: Guy Brilando from Surprise, AZ
I have to admit I was a little bit concerned in mounting something to my helmet, but when I received the HARD system I was surprise d on how small and lightweight the receiver was. I mounted the receiver to the back of my Shoei helmet, tucked the cable under the padding and placed the LED light to the right front. I then installed the transmitter to my V1 and was good to go. I ride back and forth to work every day any the battery has lasted 2 months before I decided to replace it to be on the safe side.

4 of 5 Don't ride without one of these!! December 12, 2010

Worked for about 7 months, just past the warranty period and  then quit working.  Thought I had a detector issue after about 4 months as when it was hot out the detector would flash between volume and hwy, but now that I am back to headphones as repair is almost as much as the cost, the BEL is doing fine.

4 of 5 Good product but it loves to eat battery June 30, 2010

This product is a must have for motorcyclists. Install is a breeze and the unit is very small. Now that I have it set up w/ my valentine, I feel much safer and more confident on the road. It works great, even during the bright sunlight hours.

This works great but I am lucky to get to 5 hours out of the batterys, but it is better than wear a ear phone

4 of 5 It's a "MUST HAVE" item March 24, 2009

No issues beyond my surprise per packing of the radar unit box--it came in a tall, large box with air bladder packing on the top but with the detector on the bottom of the box with no cushioning and upside down.  So much opportunity for excessive movement/tossing/flopping without cushioning.

5 of 5 Awesome Product!!!!! February 2, 2009
Reviewer: David Garnas from CO
I recently purchased the HARD System and installed it on my Harley Davidson Ultra and Escort Max radar detector. I received it in only 2-days and it was packaged with full instructions, an extra battery and Velcro to mount the receiver to my helmet and transmitter to my Escort Max. The install took less then a minute and the hardest part was finding the right placement for the LED light so I could see it when it blinked, while keeping it out of my field of vision while driving. The flashing red LED is very easy to see even in bright sunlight.  The Receiver/LED activates immediately as the detector activates I have had ample time to check and adjust my speed accordingly to my surroundings.  I would strongly recommend the HARD system to any iron butt motorcycle rider like myself as a way to take back your freedom on the open road.
