Worked great for 30 days.... September 16, 2016 Reviewer: James Fletcher from Collinsville, OK United States   This unit worked great in the beginning, I already have a V1. I bought this for my other vehicle, I was informed when I bought it if you could load the app the escort live would work. This was true for about 30 days, until they updated the app and it no longer works with att S4 active. I called "radarbusters" and they told me to contact escort, then they called me again to see if escort had called (they hadn't). It seems a $600.00 purchase would last over 30 days. Escort is aware but doesn't seem to care "radarbusters" says it is an Escort issue...Direct customer support means they will tell you directly it's not their fault. RadarBusters Response: We spoke to Escort's software development team and we've been informed that their software is no longer supporting the older version of the OS.  It is very common at some point that software stops being supported.  Our recommendation is to upgrade your phone or your phone's O/S to a more current version that is support by the manufacturer. Complicated and overpriced August 22, 2016 Reviewer: Jay Stephenson from Abernathy, TX United States   There are good and bad things but I'm gonna try to keep positive about it since I'm already vested in it.  The reception seems to be awesome so far but we have an airport that gives off false laser signals and I've tried to lock these out but they keep coming back. I bought this mainly for Escort Live but also can't lock out false signals or other things other people have reported incorrectly like "speed traps".  I also don't like that I had to buy a different mount from my 8500 and 9500.  The only thing I really like it that it picks up MOST K band signals from lane changing sensors on other vehicles.  I doesn't always work but it helps.  And I also like that Escort LIVE works to tell you the speed limit.  Very handy when the markers are decades apart.  All in all, I wish I had waited for the price to drop or bought the Excort iX.
