Easy to install, especially after finding online tutorial. Unfortunately, after install, the alert light it constantly lit. The plug otherwise works well - shows power, mutes works and RD alerts as it should. However, it will make night driving impossible witht he RD in lights off mode with no way to know an alert occurs. Would also be more helpful if it had a power button to make quick poweri
