Waited about a month to receive a Uniden R7, and on installing it in my car, it didn't power on. Tried two additional cords and power supplies to be sure. Got return info from Uniden, which did NOT include an RMA or prepaid return. Had to pay to send a new defective product back to them, with only generalized info if it would be repaired, replaced or whatever, no info about how long, according to universal email I received. Not customer service, CUSTOMER DISSERVICE. My new (reasonably fast) car arrives in a couple days, and it would have been nice to have a working unit, but apparently Uniden is lazy, incompetent or cheap, maybe all three. Exceptionally disappointed. Would rather have a refund and a more reliable detector.
RadarBusters Reponse:
Wayne, we are sorry that Uniden didn't handle your customer service inquiry to your satisfaction. We have passed your experience on to them so perhaps they will improve the experience.
