Very good radar detector June 3, 2023 Reviewer: Leo Guy from Derry, NH United States   Overall very good radar detector and very light in weight, rear antenna is very sensitive on the Uniden R8. Volume level could be louder and build quality could be better and there’s some issues with the Auto-lockouts and Speed reading on the Uniden R8 isn’t always accurate reading 2-3 mph higher than actual speed. Recommend manual locking out false alarms, do recommend the Uniden R8 Was this review helpful to you?

Uniden R8 Purchase May 2, 2023 Reviewer: Neil Woida from Clermont, FL United States   Using your website and based on your recommendations I purchased a Uniden R8 radar detector. I used it for the first time today. Likes: plug and play, easy setup. Intuitive Message screen. Easy to read. Built in GPS. Dislikes: Compared to my Escort 360 and Beltronics Magnum STI it feels flimsy. Sliding the detector in the windshield mount takes a couple tries and is not tight, so it vibrates slightly. I have high hopes for this detector and it will be getting a lot of use over the summer. Was this review helpful to you?

Excellent service, excellent product February 6, 2023 Reviewer: Tracy from TX United States   Very impressed with the R8 so far! Love the display and alert system. There are tons of settings and tweaks that you can make to dial in the detector the way you want. However out of the box, it works much better than the competition. A Whole New World December 20, 2022 Reviewer: Beer Guy from Crosslake, MN United States   This new R8 replaced a Gen 1 V1 and things have come a long way since then.
