So far so good February 6, 2019 Reviewer: John Doe   Haven't been able to test the unit for too long. But so far I've had no issues with the radar. It seems to detect really well. Shipping costs January 21, 2019 Reviewer: Stephen Garrett from Paris, TX United States   I recently purchased a Whistler CR97 and a wiretap for this unit.  The quality if both products is high but the shipping costs for the Wiretap is ridicules!  Shipping costs for mailing 8 wires plus a short power cord  shouldn’t be higher than $5.00, not $26.95 Speed of delivery is excellent! Dissapointing January 21, 2019 Reviewer: John Lambert from Katy, TX United States   I must have got a rogue model, it only worked intermittently out of the box. The build quality was not up to competitors, and there was a warning that leaving it in the car on a hot day may be a problem. I live in Texas, and previous Escort detectors I have owned never had this problem. Reluctantly I returned it. Was this review helpful to you?

Great Detector January 21, 2019 Reviewer: Mark Thain from Kings Mountain, NC United States   I have had all kind of detectors including the R3 Uniden. I had Mike to set up the detector with me not calling him on the phone because with the past Whistler they seem to false a lot. I've been using this detector now for a few weeks and I really love it because it has great range on K A detection. This is the only radar that I know of in North Carolina as I don't think they use K anymore. I have spent upwards of $600 on radar detectors and I would suggest saving your money to buy the CR97. It is the best bang for your buck. Whistler is back in the ball game with the big boys and the detector is quite as well. My radar detector started going off about 2 mi before I got to where the cop had someone pulled over. Keep up the great job Whistler as you're back in the game again Was this review helpful to you?

The site and the product January 21, 2019 Reviewer: Donald Nixon from Richardson, TX United States   The product seems to be great. I've only had it for about a week, but I'm impressed with the features and performance so far. I'd like to revisit a review of the CR-97 in 6 months or so after a few trips out of town. RadarBusters.com is a great place to shop as they only stock the good stuff and their prices are competitive if not the best. My personal experience was a mixed bag, as the CR-97 was backordered when I ordered it, and since I used PayPal, I was charged at the time of purchase and through a few mix-ups, I did not get the detector for about a month while expecting only a weeks delay. Finding information about my order's status on the website in the interim did not work, but chatting with Mike on the phone cleared everything up and kept me satisfied if still a little impatient. I would not hesitate to use RadarBusters.com again, but would have reservations about ordering items not currently in stock. Was this review helpful to you?
