Detector works like a charm July 24, 2013 Reviewer: Rigtime from Austin, Tx   Over the summer we drove from Wyoming to Maine and back and this detector didn't let me down. Received alerts in plenty of time and even when I couldn't identify the source of the alert I respected the detector's ability enough to slow down as the number of 'false alerts' are minimal. GREAT! July 18, 2013 Reviewer: Steven from Sacramento, Cal   LOVED my Escort radar detector.  I'm from Illinois so it didn't always pick up the laser state troopers in advance but any other police, sheriffs, etc. were detected way in advance. Cross country road trips to California & Texas from Chicago were great, works even better outside Illinois!  Too bad mine was stolen now shopping for a new one, preferrably wireless. My X50 has WAY more than paid for itself June 28, 2013 Reviewer: The Old Guy from Freehold, NJ   My blue display X50 was not cheap, but in the 3 years I've owned it, it has saved me from more potential tickets/hassles than I could ever count.  I was hesitant to buy a detector at all after riding for years with a buddy and his junk Wal-Mart special that absolutely never shut up, and wouldn't detect a real cop until he was right in front of us.
